1941 Schwinn LaSalle Project

1941 is a one year only frame for Schwinn. This subbranded LaSalle has a unique twin truss design. LaSalles are hard to come by. While it is not a fullbred Schwinn, the subsidiary LLC Distribution Company known as the Chicago Cycle Supply & Co shared all major components meaning parts aren't that hard to find. The white S2 balloon rims came off of a 1949 Schwinn and while rusty are rideable wheels. They have a period Carlisle/Uniroyal chain tread tire and Good Year standard. It needs some minor frame repairs. The fender bridges are common problem issues on these frames. A piece of quarter inch roundstock should do the trick. This frame could also use fresh paint and needs a new fork.
